Sloe syrup is one of the most favored of recent trending meals on earth. It’s appreciated by millions daily. It is simple, it is quick, it tastes delicious. Sloe syrup is something that I have loved my entire life. They’re nice and they look fantastic.

Sloe syrup is a quick win, very easy to make and can be added to wine or champagne making a hedgerow Kir, or to cakes and to flavour ice cream. The ingredients needed to make Sloe syrup:
  1. Get 1/2 litre water
  2. Take 1/2 litre sloes
  3. Make ready 250 g sugar

It makes a great gift for Christmas or at any time of year. Gin, Vodka, Prosecco, dry white wine or with non-alcoholic mixers like tonic water, soda water or lemonade. Instructions to make Sloe syrup:
  1. Add all ingredients to a pan, turn on the heat and stir until the sugar has dissolved Sloe syrup1. Bring to a gentle simmer, turn the heat down low and simmer for 40 minutes
  2. The texture should now be syrup-like and the sloes should have burst
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve to remove the stones and skins, leaving the smooth syrup

The fruit can be fermented into country wines, and is sometimes an ingredient of ales or porters. Warm the mixture until the sugar dissolves, then allow it to cool. If you prefer a higher-strength sloe gin, it is possible to make syrup with three parts sugar and two parts water to reduce dilution.
